Louis B. Reynolds (1917-1983)


REYNOLDS, Louis Bernard—born February 23, 1917, Verdery Greenwood, South Carolina; died September 12, 1983, London, Ontario, Canada. An ordained minister for 45 years, he began his ministry as a pastor in Missouri and Kansas. Following this, he was chaplain of the Riverside Sanitarium and Hospital, editor of Message magazine (1944-1959, 1977-1980), a pastor in New York, director of public relations for the Northeastern Conference, associate secretary of the General Conference Sabbath School Department, General Conference field secretary, scriptwriter for the Breath of Life television series, and author and coauthor of several books. Survivors include his two daughters, Dawn Jones and Joan Cruz; a granddaughter, Alisa Jones; two grandsons, Alvan and Jeffrey Cruz; his foster mother, Bonnie Dobbins Stewart; and many other relatives.
