Rebecca White (1868-1912)

WHITE.- Mrs. Rebecca White (colored) was born in Arkansas, and died at Lamar, Colo., May 2, 1912, aged 44 years, 4 months, and 17 days. Sister White formerly belonged to the Baptist Church, but as a result of Bible studies held by Brother J. Z. Walker about five years ago, she was led to accept present truth, and united with the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Since that time she has been a faithful Christian, always doing what she could to bring the light of truth to her people. She is survived by her husband and one daughter. The funeral service was conducted by the writer.
